Whether it's a wheel loader, an excavator or a few pallets of bricks - with a payload of 8830 kilograms and a platform length of 6.2 meters, the platform trailer is suitable for transporting both larger construction machines and palletized goods. Thanks to a 900-millimeter-long rear slope, a flat ramp angle is created; gas pressure jacks ensure that the robust steel ramps can also be easily folded up and down on their own.
The floor of the TPS 118 is made of steel/checker plate; the bulkhead and the removable drop sides are made of 25-millimeter-thick and 40-centimeter-high hollow aluminum sections. For optimum load securing, 12 heavy-duty lashing eyes with a tensile force of 5 tons each are embedded in the floor or outer frame. In addition, 4 further lashing eyes are screwed into the corners.
Many useful details of the TPS ensure greater comfort and safety in everyday use: tension straps and other accessories can be stored in the stainless steel stowage box; thanks to a spray flap extending across the entire width of the vehicle, no dirt swirls up; to enable another towing vehicle to be used quickly if required, the height of the towing bar can be adjusted by 300 millimeters with the aid of a spindle, as can the folding supports at the rear and the support leg with two-speed gearbox at the front.
The comprehensive LED package consists of multi-chamber taillights with dynamic turn signals, side marker lights, and position and lane departure lights. Two LED work lights at the rear ensure an optimally illuminated working environment at all times.
Fliegl offers a 10-year warranty against rust-through of the hot-dip galvanized frame. The parabolic suspension with rubber-steel bearings of the BPW drum brake axles is maintenance-free.
