The dropside saddle has been tried and tested for years in international long-distance transport. Thanks to global customs seal approval, it is suitable for long-distance cross-border transport; the bulkhead, curtain, sliding roof and rear portal can be securely sealed and then sealed by customs. At the rear, customers can choose between a dropside with tarpaulin and a two-wing rear door. The bulkhead and drop sides are made of 25 mm thick hollow aluminium profiles.

The drop sides are 700 mm high as standard, optionally higher, the bulkhead height is 1,950 mm. Like all Fliegl platform semitrailers, the dropside semitrailer is also available in the three variants Standard, Maxi and Mega. With the Standard platform the coupling height is 1,150 mm, with the Maxi 1,050 mm, with the Mega only 910 mm. With an unladen weight of 6,000 kg, the Standard and Maxi semitrailers offer a payload of 29,000 kg, while the Mega offers a payload of 28,800 kg with an unladen weight of 6,200 kg.
