Hot asphalt for durable pavements
Since 2019, legislation requires the delivery of asphalt in thermo-insulated vehicles for the construction of all new asphalt pavements.
Fliegl's Asphaltprofi Thermo®achieves top insulation values. For the trough insulation, Fliegl has developed Isotherm, a light material which is applied to the outside of the trough and completely covers it. With Fliegl Isotherm there are no cold bridges. The body, floor, front and rear are completely insulated. Compared to other systems that insulate with rock wool, Isotherm is insensitive to moisture and retains its excellent insulating properties even when wet. The asphalt reaches the construction site very hot and can be processed perfectly.
The asphalt professional Thermo®stands for temperature stability, optimum degree of compaction and highest paving quality. It makes roads better. It protects construction companies from claims for damages due to undercutting of prescribed compaction degrees.
The asphalt professional brings together two Fliegl innovations for sustainable bulk material transport: The payload-optimised frame design in conical construction reduces fuel consumption, pollutant emissions and operating costs; the curved frame front optimises torsional stiffness.
The robust round steel body has an integrated chute. The floor and side panels are designed to overlap. Even under tough conditions, the Asphaltprofi Thermo®transports bulk materials safely, economically and with low wear.
