Tipper trailers with aluminium box body are the first choice when an optimum payload is paramount. The conically shaped body made of high-strength aluminium is optimally matched to the curved chassis. This combination enables high stability and at the same time means an excellent weight balance.
Air baffles, in conjunction with the curved chassis shape, tapered trough and outward-curving diaphragm rear panel, provide excellent CW, reducing fuel costs. The rear portal hinges are subjected to great stress during high-frequency discharge cycles. To better protect this important component, Fliegl uses a double-jointed hinge. With this hinge, the tailgate has more freedom of movement upwards and, compared to a single hinge, is not damaged by the tailgate touching down on the bulk material. The front wall, which is inclined by 21° degrees, facilitates the unloading of cohesive goods as well and ensures better load distribution
Only high-strength material with a Brinell hardness of HB 110 is used for the aluminium used in the body. This means excellent abrasion resistance even with abrasive loads and at the same time stands for low weight. The operator's platform with access from both sides is installed on the lifting cylinder. In addition to the possibility of height adjustment, the supply lines are thus well protected and can be reached much more easily by the driver.
The aluminium box body offers a volume of 25 m³, the steel chassis in curved design ensures high stability. The user-friendly details, an extensive range of options and low life-cycle costs make this tipper trailer ideal for fleet use as well as for the entrepreneur with individual wishes in terms of equipment and appearance. Series production at the Triptis site in Germany ensures rapid availability, even for large quantities.
