Fliegl offers both its Road and MegaRunners with coil troughs. Thanks to the optimised frame construction, the trailers have a tare weight from 6000 kilograms and a proud payload of over 28 tonnes. Well thought-out lightweight construction for lower diesel consumption makes Fliegl's coil vehicles economical and more environmentally friendly. The trough is 7040 (standard semi-trailer) or 8040 millimetres long (mega semi-trailer) and holds coils with a diameter of 900 to 2100 millimetres or 700 to 2200 millimetres.

The trailers have a load securing certificate in accordance with EN 12642 XL and DC 9.5. When fully equipped, there are over 500 lashing options. Three pairs of coil supports and eight pairs of reinforced lashing eyes in the coil trough area are available for securing steel rolls.

But the load securing possibilities are far from exhausted:

For the transport of coils and slit strip, Fliegl Trailer has a short version of the RoadRunner in its range. The unique selling point of the compact coil trailer is its weight: With only approx. 4400 kg, it ranks clearly below the values usual on the market so far. With a length of approx. 6.3 m, the coil body is at industry level, the overall length of the trailer measures 10 m, adjusted to the maximum payload in coil practice. Approx. 33500 kg payload (technically) are possible with the RoadRunner Coil x-tra short.
