Tandem drop deck trailer
TSK 89 to 140
Whether several tonnes of bulk goods, up to 12 Euro pallets or construction machinery weighing up to 11,200 kilograms - the tandem three-way tippers of the TSK series are extremely versatile. The TSK competes in no less than four weight classes: it is available with payloads from 6,150 to 7,750 and 9,050 up to 11,200 kilograms. This makes the tandem trailer suitable for transporting larger excavators, wheel loaders and other construction machines. Thanks to its wide loading area of 2,420 millimetres, there is room for two Euro pallets next to each other. All TSK trailers come from the factory with a 4,500 millimetre long platform; a 500 millimetre longer loading area is available as an option. A central locking system ensures that the steel drop sides can be opened on three sides with a single hand movement; the drop sides are also removable.
The hydraulic multi-piston press tilts the bridge up to an angle of 47 degrees to the rear or 50 degrees to the side - so even sticky bulk materials slide off completely. 10 lashing eyes, each with a tensile force of 5 tonnes, are embedded in the floor. Robustness is required in tough everyday construction site conditions, and the TSK delivers: The tipping shaft at the rear is of continuous design and therefore particularly stable, the leaf spring units are practically maintenance-free, the floor is made of 4 millimetre thick sheet steel, and Fliegl offers a 15-year warranty against rust-through on the hot-dip galvanised frame. In rough terrain the integral air tanks pay off, they are integrated into the frame and thus offer an extra high ground clearance.
TSK 119
The TSK 119 "New Generation" is just as compact as the "smaller" TSKs, but offers even more payload. It fits in between the TSK 118 (9,050 kg payload) and the larger TSK 140 (11,200 kg payload). The highlight: although the TSK 119 with an unladen weight of 2,600 kilograms is a full 150 kilograms lighter than its brothers TSK 89/100/118, it can carry a payload of 9,300 kilograms. This is due to the newly shaped curved chassis, rounded at the front and weight-optimised.
The bridge, tipper, axles and other equipment are identical to the TSK variants 89 to 140. Thanks to various options, each TSK can be optimally adapted to the respective customer requirements: Available options include bulkhead and tail lift extensions, tail lift retraction springs for lifting support, net hooks, roll tarpaulin, grain slider in the rear wall, folding rear outriggers, ramps with 4 or 8 tonnes load capacity and a lockable ramp storage compartment underneath the loading area.
TSK 210
The TSK 210 New Generation marks the spearhead and the largest model in the TSK range. The air-sprung disc brake axles from BPW allow the high payload of 17 tonnes with a permissible gross weight of 21 tonnes thanks to the increased axle spacing. This means that, despite its compact dimensions, it can transport heavy construction machinery such as excavators, which would otherwise require a significantly larger vehicle or even a low-loader. With a length of 5,000 millimetres, the bridge offers sufficient space, and thanks to the short overall length of only 7,280 millimetres, the train remains manoeuvrable for narrow construction sites.
In terms of load securing, the TSK 210 offers more than a dozen lashing points: 4 lashing eyes, each with a tensile force of 5 tonnes, in the side walls; in addition, 10 lashing eyes, each with a tensile force of 10 tonnes, are embedded in the floor.
The necessary ramps are stored under the loading area in a lockable storage compartment, a rear support ensures safe loading. The dropside body is made entirely of steel, but thanks to retraction springs the drop sides can still be folded down and up easily, and a central locking system opens the drop sides with a flick of the wrist. The double-leaf pendulum combination door can either be opened sideways or locked at the top for tipping.
The 4 millimetre thick sheet steel floor made of Hardox 450 is particularly robust and abrasion-resistant - ideal for transporting and frequently dumping abrasive goods. To ensure that even sticky bulk material slides easily off the bridge, the three-sided tipping unit offers large tipping angles of 47 degrees to the rear and 50 degrees to the side.
