Fliegl's low loader programme - an overview

Fliegl's extensive low-loader programme ranges from single to five-axle trailers (both trailers and semi-trailers) and is supplemented and completed by special constructions from the subsidiary Hangler.

Heavy-duty transports pose particularly diverse challenges to man and transport solution. Therefore, it is important to make the work as easy as possible for the drivers. This is what Fliegl is committed to under the aspect of comprehensive safety. Fliegl low-loaders are made of the strongest steels in order to ensure sustainable load capacity and functionality. Where possible and reasonable, Fliegl optimizes the payload of its low-loaders by intelligent lightweight construction and innovative detail solutions, which make the transport of construction equipment, machines and special vehicles even safer, more economical and more practical.

Fliegl's low-loaders score not only with payload-optimised empty weights and are characterised by low loading heights (only 860 mm) and comprehensive load securing options. The whole spectrum is available: Lashing eyes, lashing mushrooms, stanchion pockets, cable winches, wheel recesses, etc. Easy handling, quick adjustment and optimum load distribution are among the strengths of these trailers. The modular, dynamic frame construction ensures the best driving characteristics. In addition, there is a wide range of options for customising the vehicle to your own requirements. Fliegl's low-loaders are offered in a wide range of variants, as a modular system offers extensive configuration possibilities. Payloads from 6 to 60 t go hand in hand with different ramp designs, steering and lift axles, bucket or excavator arm recesses and floor coverings as desired. Telescoping, widening or drive-over wheel recesses are also included in the range.

These vehicle concepts are also thought through. Lighting systems are installed with optimum protection. The coated steel pipe, which serves as a hydraulic line underneath the loading area, also has a protective effect. Loading ramps at the rear have separate ramp shafts so that they can be easily removed if necessary. The rear support is located far to the outside, where it can be conveniently operated. The vehicles offer a wide range of stowage options: in the turntable front, in the drive-over ramp, on the gooseneck, etc. Extensive accessories make the commercial vehicles flexible for any application: climbing rails, drop sides and tarpaulin superstructures, container locks or even lifting tables.

Fliegl low-loaders are offered in painted and hot-dip galvanized versions. On customer request, both are possible. Whether zinc or paint - Fliegl guarantees the longevity of its vehicles and offers a 10-year warranty for painted chassis, a 15-year warranty for galvanized chassis and a 20-year warranty against rust-through in case of a combination of both coatings.

Fliegl's low-loader programme stands for investment security and versatility: With variable number of axles, steering axles, 11-tonne axles as standard, payloads between six and 60 tonnes, durable and resilient frames, the heavy-duty professionals make you mobile - reliably and sustainably.
