The IAA Transportation will take place for the second time in Hanover from 17 to 22 September 2024. At this leading international trade fair for commercial vehicles, logistics and the transport industry, the focus is on sustainable solutions, efficiency and TCO. On the road to a climate-neutral transport and logistics industry, lightweight construction is more important than ever - and Fliegl has the ideal vehicles in its portfolio. At Stand C37 in Hall 27, the vehicle manufacturer from Triptis will be exhibiting high-quality trailers and semi-trailers as well as sophisticated details that make everyday transport more efficient, more comfortable and safer.
90 per cent of all goods worldwide are transported in containers. In the TWP 180 tandem swap-body trailer, Fliegl has the right vehicle for efficient and safe transport. With an unladen weight of just 3,250 kilograms, this particularly lightweight trailer offers a high payload of 14,750 kilograms and is ideal for swap bodies in lengths of 7.15/7.45 and 7.82 metres.
The SDS 380 three-axle container semi-trailer with brackets for 20-foot containers offers more than twice as much payload, a whopping 34,638 kilograms, with an unladen weight of just 3,362 kilograms. The vehicle is specially equipped for the ADR transport of tank containers.
The extremely flexible Vario V3+ container chassis, which is based on the SDS 380 container semi-trailer, scores points with a similarly high payload. 20-, 30-, 40-foot containers, two 20-foot or even one 45-foot container: thanks to the front and rear extension and centre telescoping function, the V3+ can be quickly adapted to suit the respective transport application.
Fliegl uses a three-axle curtainsider semi-trailer to demonstrate the practical details with which a vehicle can be equipped. The SDS 390 RoadRunner Greenlight in the Coil version offers many special features that make everyday haulage easier, from the special chassis and clever load securing systems to the roof with Blitz canopy top and anti-ice system.
By the way: Where customers with special requirements for trailers or semi-trailers get the brush-off from other manufacturers, Fliegl offers a sympathetic ear. Whether very special one-offs or small series, the Fliegl team in Triptis develops and manufactures customised vehicles and individual solutions for almost every transport requirement. All trailers and semi-trailers are manufactured exclusively in Germany using state-of-the-art machinery.
To ensure that all vehicles always remain in top condition and earn money, Fliegl is offering full service contracts for the first time. Customers can book various packages depending on their specific requirements: Whether they choose the maintenance, tyre or wear package - with this new offer, customers get the full service from a single source, minimise the risk of downtime and can calculate their TCO more accurately thanks to a fixed flat rate.
The Fliegl team looks forward to welcoming its customers and interested visitors to Stand C37 in Hall 27. Managing Director Helmut Fliegl will be on site in person every day; always close to the customer, open to suggestions and for technical dialogue.
