In each case, four container locks with sturdy booms secure swap bodies of all standard sizes (7.15 m, 7.45 m and 7.82 m) based on 20-foot containers. These locks are secured by a convenient lever mechanism, which is as reliable as it is practical. The air suspension of the swap body trailers features an easily activated brake release function. Once the brakes have been released, the axles are able to "relax" for subsequent raising or lowering. The adapter position is variable – depending on the size of the swap body.

V-Stream turntable trailer: for maximum added value
Fliegl manufactures suitable swap trailers for swap bodies with parking heights of 1220 to 1320 mm or as a Jumbo version with a long-stroke unit for 830 to 1380 mm. With an under-hitch system, the tandem and tridem trailers can also accommodate 7.82 m swap bodies.
With the V-shaped frame construction of its two-axle swap body trailer, Fliegl offers significant added value in the form of an increased payload. The longitudinal members of the aerodynamically designed chassis do not run parallel but instead converge towards each other. This massively increases vehicle stability since the forces are transferred directly to the slewing ring.
Lighter means better: The basic version of the trailer boasts an unladen weight of only approx. 2 t, while also offering up to 500 kg more payload than comparable vehicles.
Laser technology delivers outstanding quality: The multi-coloured wiring is transparent and maintenance-friendly. Lasers were used to create recesses with T brackets for the cable ties that secure the lines.
Extremely robust: The conveniently positioned control panel is made from stainless steel and is both simple to operate and easily accessible. The air suspension with 208 l air supply ensures rapid lifting and lowering with up to 5 consecutive lifting operations. Other durable features include the optimally positioned lighting carrier with indestructible marker lights made from soft rubber as well as the perfect cable routing, which is colour-coded for straightforward servicing. The underride guard is set very far inward to further underline the trailer's outstanding resilience. Damage is all but impossible, with roller bumpers providing additional protection at the rear.
The V-Stream features four locking devices on sturdy booms for containers with lengths of 7.15 and 7.45 m. Fliegl equips this turntable trailer with three pairs of removable guide rollers, located at the front, in the centre and at the rear. Swap Guard position adapters for swab bodies are situated before and behind each container lock to facilitate positioning of the containers. The front stop can be adjusted longitudinally and folded down, while the height of the drawbar can be adjusted quickly and easily without tools.
For swap body transports: the Fliegl Single semi-trailer
The "SES Single", Fliegl's compact and flexible semi-trailer for swap body transports, kills several birds with one stone thanks to its ingenious design. Short, agile and easily manoeuvrable – the semi-trailer easily gets to hard-to-reach destinations in local and urban traffic as well as in shuttle transport. It enables flexible use of your semi-trailer tractor and can transport both conventional semi-trailers and swap bodies with a length of 7.45 m and 7.82 m as well as 20-foot containers.
As with all swap body semi-trailers from Fliegl, the guide rollers can be removed if required, while the four locks are mounted on sturdy booms based on 20-foot containers. Thanks to folding supports, which can be extended towards the front, the single-axle trailer can also be uncoupled under load. The 24 t, 2-gear support winch ensures utmost stability and enables quick
uncoupling. The axle of the short trailer offers an axle load of 9 or 10 t, which is more than enough for most lightweight swap bodies.
