Sliding floor trailer with special top

Fliegl dealer Sylvain Bonni in Liège, Belgium, has already maintained personal contact with customer Transports Jullien SRL for several years. "Last year, the boss Jean-Marc Jullien visited Triptis and was very impressed by the innovations and sustainability at the Fliegl plant," Bonni says. The decision in favor of a new push floor trailer from Triptis was made quickly; it is the first Fliegl trailer in the Jullien fleet.

Jullien mainly transports sawdust, wood chips and, more recently, waste. To ensure that the push floor lasts a particularly long time, Fliegl uses an extremely abrasion-resistant aluminum alloy for the 10 mm thick, ribbed floor profiles. There is a special feature here: the aluminum profiles are bolted in the center of the trailer; if, after a few years, the lower part is more worn than the upper, the profiles can simply be rotated by 180 degrees - and thus continue to be used for a few more years. The driver can switch between forward/reverse operation by radio remote control, and the control box for the dual-circuit hydraulic system is mounted in front of the axles.

Fliegl also manufactures the box body from abrasion-resistant aluminum; the front and side walls consist of hollow aluminum profiles, which are welded together at the top with a wide reinforcement profile and welded in at the bottom with a special frame. In the trough runs a sliding wall with reinforced tarpaulin flaps for better emptying. The rear wall made of hollow aluminum profiles is designed with two doors, the right door also fits on the left. This guarantees fast and reliable spare parts supply. Permanently easy opening and closing is ensured by the stainless steel espagnolette locks mounted on the outside with locking at the top and bottom. Thanks to pneumatic safety locking of the rear panel, mechanical locking is no longer required.

The double-sided access on the Code-XL-certified body makes the trailer maximally flexible, even when using different tractor units that have access on different sides. If it is necessary to climb into the 92 cubic meter body, this is easily done via the spacious standing platform at the front and the maintenance door installed on the left in the direction of travel.

The hydraulic two-wing folding roof - a special feature familiar from the agricultural sector - provides significant time and labor savings during loading and unloading. The robust tarpaulin roof can be opened or closed in around 10 seconds at the push of a button on the radio remote control, which makes every driver and loader happy.
