The flexible all-rounder

With the TPS 210 Jumbo-Z tandem low-loader trailer, Fliegl has a flexible all-rounder in its portfolio that can be used to transport practically anything from construction machinery to pallets and containers.

Loading area
When construction sites are set up for a longer period of time, office and living containers are often required. Thanks to the latches embedded in the floor, a
20-foot container fits on the TPS 210; the latches are retractable and ensure a level loading surface when not in use. At the front, a plug-in 400 millimetre high bulkhead made of 25 millimetre thick hollow aluminium profiles forms the end.

The load height in the low bed is only 860 millimetres, the floor consists of
70 millimetre thick larch planks, which offer a particularly high coefficient of friction, as required for load securing. A steel/chequer plate covering is used in the wheel arch area; the 900 millimetre long rear slope is also made of 70 millimetre thick wooden planks. For particularly wide loads, the loading area can be widened to 3 metres using side extensions. The planks required for this are stored in a central storage compartment when not in use.

Ramps
The one-piece, galvanised steel ramps are 3 metres long and 75 centimetres wide; they can be raised and lowered hydraulically and moved sideways individually. The toothed grating surface offers plenty of grip.

Load securing
Like every Fliegl vehicle, the low-loader offers plenty of lashing options:
14 lashing points with a tensile force of 10 tonnes each are embedded in the top and sides of the outer frame, plus 10 ring lashing eyes with a tensile force of 5 tonnes each in the outer frame, which can be converted into stake pockets. Two additional lashing brackets with a tensile force of 10 tonnes are mounted in the front cross member. Lashing straps and other LaSi equipment are stored in the stainless steel stowage box when not in use.

Axles
The drum brake axles with twin tyres are laser-measured, as is usual at Fliegl - this ensures low tyre wear and reduces fuel consumption. To enable the technical axle load of 10 tonnes, the axle spacing has been slightly offset; on the TPS 210, the EBS Canbus signal supplies the axle load to a display in the cab. A tyre pressure monitoring system in accordance with ECE R 141 also supplies the tyre pressure to a display in the cab.

Safety and lighting
The low-loader trailer is of course equipped with the prescribed safety markings: these include contour markings with white reflective strips at the sides and red reflective strips at the rear, a warning sign in accordance with ECE 70 and an LED rotating beacon at the rear. Two further LED-illuminated warning signs at the rear can be extended to a width of 3 metres.

The comprehensive LED package consists of multi-chamber rear lights,
LED position and lane departure lights; the indicators are coupled with the
LED side marker lights. The lighting package also includes two LED work lights at the rear and another on the right and left side.

Other useful details make the TPS 210 safer and more convenient in everyday use: the plugs and connections on the drawbar are parked in appropriate holders when not in use; thanks to the spare wheel, you are quickly mobile again in the event of a breakdown; the full-width splash guard keeps water and dirt on the ground and gives following traffic a better view.

Thanks to the hot-dip galvanised and passivated frame, Fliegl offers a 15-year warranty against rusting through.
